Hello Family!
Just wanted to give everyone an update on Seth. Many of you know that his lungs have been a concern for some time and are not in the best of shape. They are wanting to do a treatment on them at the Primary Children's Hospital. He will need to go twice a week for treatments at the hospital which will last for a few hours. At this point we don't know the duration but it could be on going for awhile....months.
We have talked to his mission leader and are waiting to speak with his doctor this week. They are willing to let him stay on his mission but are wanting to see if family can help with weekly transportation and appointments. They want him to be with someone as his companion...but it does not have to be a priesthood holder....aunts and uncles, grandparents and cousins are all okay.
We realize that this is asking a lot of the family as everyone has busy schedules. Chad is willing to take him up all that he can, but it is a lot for him to do alone. We are going to check and see if some of these can be done on Saturday's...it is not real likely since the clinic is not open on the weekend and that is probably where it will be. But we will keep everyone posted.
In the mean time if anyone thinks they may have time to help out with this please let us know asap and which days you may have available. We are going to try and work out a schedule as soon as we can. We will also get Todd's family to help.
Thanks for all of your support and prayers. We love you all......The Spencer's

Tyler, Ella & Charlie
Tyler, Ella and Charlie came down to SoCal and made a visit to our home in August 2009. As you can tell they are very happy kids! (That's Brandon with them in the picture!)
They all helped out grandpa in his garden pick the vegetables for us to eat!
Tyler was eager to collect as many vegetables as he could find!!
Charlie was just happy with his little tomato!
We really like when our grand kids come to visit us. WE LOVE THEM!!

A sample chat from Seth
Here is a chat from the week. I hope you like it...I didn't exactly do my job of inviting them to Christ.
Seth: Hello How are you?
Buck:Hello I am fine how bout you?
Seth:I am great, thanks for asking. What brings you to Mormon .org?
Buck: That's cool. I dunno, I have a question I guess
Seth:OK
Buck: Was the apple Eve ate a granny smith or a macintosh?
Seth: I like to think it was a "Pink Lady"
Buck: Is that an apple?
Seth: Yes, they are a little tart, but not as tart as a granny smith!

Halloween Fun
Hi everyone! This is a fun blog, and Josh and I finally have a couple of pictures to contribute. We love Halloween and have been having some fun! We took our traditional trip to the Nightmare on 13th haunted house. Josh was having fun trying on his costume and we got this cute picture out of it! Josh thinks he could be the grim reaper with Toby as his demon dog. I think that Toby was just trying to make sure Josh hadn't been swallowed up by a monster!

In search of Audrey & Claire
On Saturday we took Audrey over to Gardiner Village to see all the witches and pumpkins outside the various stores. What a FUN place! (Especially great if you are into photography!) Audrey was a little apprehensive about the witches but agreed to get close enough for a picture!
Audrey (age 3 1/2)
Her birthday is February 9th
Claire (age 1 - almost!)
Her birthday is November 4th
All in all it was a great trip and fun to see most of the family in Utah. We'll be back in 6 weeks for Thanksgiving! I leave you with a picture I did of Audrey and Claire in what Brandon calls a look into perceptual realism. Happy Halloween everyone!
